Sunday Morning Sledding

On my back porch

Red Hair Girl and Penny Cooper sledding on the hill the April blizzard created on my back porch.

This series is such a delight, Fresca! Takes me back to cildhood, childlike joys in simple things with a friend at your side, sharing in the fun.

I miss that.

Thanks, Crow!
I hadn't realized RHG was lonely for a doll friend until Penny came---she played with the bears too, but you can see how much more fun she's having with another girl (and I am too).

Oh, and I love their fur coats, too. Wonder if the bears will remember their lives as coats when they're restuffed? Such stirrings of my imagination these images have caused. :)

I believe that the bears remain conscious and present and are having a ball!
(I know this is all coming from me, but it doesn't necessarily feel that way.)

Love the stories of the last few days. I think they would be a great storybook for kids. Can't wait to see what new adventures Penny Cooper and Red Hair Girl will have.

You had snow and we had ice today! Lovely April weather--where is spring?

I think we are skipping spring this year--I expect we'll jump straight to summer!
